• Flax (also known as common Flax or Linseed) is an erect annual plant growing to 1.2 m tall with a slender stem.
• The fruits are round, dry capsule 5-9 mm in diameter containing several glossy brown seeds shaped like an apple pop, 4-7 mm long. Its scientific name is LINUM USITATISSIMUM, from the Umbelliferae family.
